Iraqi Noria enlisted in the Intangible Cultural Heritage

Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced enlisting  the waterwheels - Noria on the list of intangible heritage.

"It was decided to include Iraqi Noria on the list of intangible cultural heritage during the sixteenth meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage, which was held online at UNESCO on Wednesday, 15th of December,” said the Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
