Oil Ministry: Last month’s revenues amounted to more than $7 billion

    The oil ministry announced on Thursday total oil exports and revenues for last October, with revenues reaching more than 7 billion dollars.
     
    "According to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (Somo), the amount of exports of crude oil reached (96) million and (708) thousand and (660) barrels, with revenues of (7) billion and (666) million and (495) thousand dollars," said a ministry statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "The total amount of crude oil exported last October from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 93 million and (386) thousand and (975) barrels, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan (3) million and (11) thousand and (917) barrels," the statement said.
     
    "The average price per barrel was 79,274 dollars," the statement said adding that “"The quantities exported were loaded by (32) international companies of different nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor al-Amaya, single floats on the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan.”
