The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renewed Iraq's firm and supportive position for the Palestinian issue, while indicating that Iraq categorically rejects the issue of normalization with Israel.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "We renew the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as it was known, Iraq's firm and supportive position for the Palestinian cause and the implementation of the full legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the categorical rejection the issue of normalization with Israel, and that the Iraqi government position sees this as a priority for this issue."
He pointed out that "Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein affirmed at the Manama Dialogue Conference, as is in all international forums, the right of the Palestinian people and the rejection of all forms of normalization issue.
