Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein stressed today, Friday, the need to activate the mechanisms of joint action with the Gulf Cooperation Council.
"The Minister of Foreign Affairs met the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Nayef Al-Hajraf, to discuss a number of issues concerned with joint Arab action," said Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
Hussein stressed, according to the statement, the need to activate the mechanisms of joint work with the Gulf Cooperation Council, in a way that reflects the depth of relations and the common interests involved.
