The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, affirmed, today, Tuesday, that Iraq adopts a balanced policy of openness based on international and regional cooperation and coordination, while noting that holding the elections is an important step towards forming a parliament and an effective government.
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received, today, Tuesday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the credentials of the ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Germany, Martin Jager, and the Czech Republic, Peter Stepanek."
Salih stressed, during his meeting with the two ambassadors separately, that "Iraq adopts a balanced policy of openness based on international and regional cooperation and coordination to confront the challenges of terrorism, combat corruption and joint climate action to protect the environment."
