Electoral Commission: results of manual and electronic counting are matched

The Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) announced on Monday that the results of the manual counting in the general ballot matched the electronic one.
 
"The match of the results of the manual counting in the general ballot with the electronic ballot was 100%," IHEC spokeswoman Jumana al-Ghalay told The Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"This was done at all the stations selected by manual lot," she said.
 
The electoral commission said Monday that the primary vote rate in the general election was 41 percent, while the number of voters for the was about 10 million.
