Iraq FM arrives in Belgrade for the meeting of Non-Aligned Countries

    INA - BAGHDAD 

    Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA announced the arrival of Minister Fuad Hussein in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to participate in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Countries.

    "FM Hussein arrived on Saturday, October 9th. 2021, in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to participate in the meeting of the Non-Aligned Countries, which will be held to celebrate the anniversary.  The sixtieth conference for the founding the movement, which will be hosted by the Republic of Serbia for the period between October 11th and 12th,” said the spokesman for MOFA, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

    Al-Sahaf added, "It is hoped that the minister will meet with the Serbian President, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the context of strengthening bilateral relations between Baghdad and Belgrade, and opening more prospects for joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly people,”

    "The minister will also meet with some of his counterparts from the member states of the movement on the sidelines of the meeting,” he noted.
