The Arab League announced its participation in monitoring the Iraqi Parliament elections for the year 2021.
A statement by the League received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), today, Sunday, stated that it is responded for the invitation received by the League of Arab States from the Independent High Electoral Commission in the Republic of Iraq, that the Arab League States' will participating in monitoring the Iraqi parliament elections, and in the attention given by the Arab League to keep pace with the elections entitlements that conducting in its member states.
He pointed out that "the mission will issue its preliminary statement after completing the monitoring process, and it will issue its final report containing its detailed observation on the mission and recommendations for that, and submit it to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, and send it to the concerned authorities in the Republic of Iraq.
