The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced today, Thursday, that it is preparing for laying the foundation stone for Nasiriyah International Airport.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a delegation from the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers conducted a field visit to Nasiriyah International Airport," noting that "the visit comes under the guidance of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi to see the final preparations for laying the foundation stone for the airport development and rehabilitation project, during the next few days.
He added, "The delegation will tour a number of vital projects in the province, including the Turkish Hospital, the Islah Water Project, the Dhi Qar Concrete Bridge, and the Industrial City to put the finishing touches for the purpose of opening a number of them soon."
