The Ministry of Electricity confirmed that 630 megawatts of the national system will be supplied near the national system, while it referred to the Salah al-Din thermal station, as its completion rates have reached the final stages in preparation for entering work before the summer season.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said today, Sunday, that "the Minister of Electricity, Majid Mahdi Al-Amara, visited the Salah al-Din Thermal Station to see in the field the completion of its final stages in order to enter work and supply the electrical system with new cards in front of the summer preparations.
The statement added, "An expanded meeting was held with the electricians and the Chinese executing company (CMEC), in which the work completion stages, the necessary technical checks, and how the station equipment was installed, the fuel supplies, turbine and boiler equipment, and the necessary control devices for the station were discussed."
