Al-Kaabi: The President of the Republic ratification of laws is a protocol

The First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Hassan Al Kaabi, confirmed that the President of the Republic ratification of the laws is a protocol procedure.
Al-Kaabi said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the president of the republic does not have the power to veto laws, object to them, or return them to the parliament according to the constitution."
