Abdul Mahdi word on the occasion of victory day

The commander of the armed forces, Adel Abdul Mahdi speech’s  delivered by the central celebration of the Ministry of Defense on the occasion of victory day from taking responsibility in the previous government and the General Command of the armed forces, especially Brother Dr. Haider Abadi, ministers, officials and military leaders.

The following is the text of the speech as received by the Iraqi News Agency :

This is a proud day for all of us. A day when our courageous country defeated the enemies of life and dignity and the enemies of freedom and peace. A day when you have defeated  thousands of terrorist prospects with your relentless and relentless resolve.

Iraq today enjoys peace and enjoy unity,and thanks to them we entered the stage of reconstruction and construction. To pay tribute to the Supreme Reference, which responded to the call of our people of young people and elders and were given to defend their freedom and land and sanctities.

AL Jihad advisory opinion will remain a shining sign in the history of this people and the homeland. It is from this that the decisive response started. It is the foundation of victory and under its shadow . A tribute to our heroic armed forces of all types and formations ... and all the commanders, officers and spare fighters who fought liberation battles and achieved victory and continue with the same strength and determination to defend Iraq and its people. Greetings to the army, police, counterterrorism, popular mobilization and peshmerga, and each line during the battles of victory is a story of heroism and redemption

 I salute on Victory Day the responsibility of the previous government and the general leadership of the armed forces, especially Brother Dr. Haider Abadi, ministers, officials and military leaders.
