The Head of Economic and Foreign Relations Department at the Ministry of Commerce, Adel Masoud discussed on Tuesday with the Canadian embassy charge d’affaires the development of economic relations and the need for the entry of Canadian companies to the Iraqi market for grain supply.
This came in a statement-copy delivered to INA.
He added, “The two sides discussed the need for Canadian companies to enter the local market to supply grain to Iraq by making a cooperative memorandum of understanding between the two countries in addition to the possibility to provide training courses for the General Grain Trade Company owners exchange experiences,”
The Canadian embassy’s charge d’affaires at, Andortner, expressed that his country seeks to develop economic and trade relations with Iraq and signing memorandums of understanding for supplying grain to the Iraqi market,”
He Also praised the victories achieved by the Iraqi government against ISIS and liberating all of its areas from it.
